TEDxTaipei Service Design: Engaging Spectators as Active Participants
TAIPEI (2010)
BACKGROUND Founded in 2009, TEDxTaipei was among the first to bring the TED experience to the world outside the US. Its original founders wished to create a platform for grassroots activism and social dialogue, a place that brings together people from all walks of life to shape the future of Taiwan through a non-electoral process. It was also their vision to build the biggest Mandarin Language TED program and repository in the world. This pro-bono project translated the vision of TEDxTaipei into a usable service framework for future set designers to create a conference environment that maximizes social interaction and discovery.
