Tele-Project Room: Connected E-Ink Whiteboart for Multi-Site Collaboration

Work in contemporary organizations are increasingly collaborative, mobile and geographically distributed. Based on my consulting experience working with organizations of various sizes, the most valuable part of business travel tends to be the experience of being able converse eye-to-eye and brainstorm together in the same room using one whiteboard (with or without post-it notes). Google Docs is a useful alternative, but it does not replace the big whiteboard. While eye-contact engines are beginning to make their way into the market, having an affordable multimedia collaboration tool that makes two locations/surfaces feel like one could reduce travel while greatly improving the quality of collaboration across sites.
